Fells Point The heart and souls of true Baltimore neighborhood. This delightful spot is chalk full of local bars /restaurants. If you go to the Inner Harbor and take the water taxi to Fell’s (as we call it) you get a booklet with coupons for many places. Two items of note: as you come into the Fell’s Point water taxi spot there is a pier with a Hotel being built. This hotel is owned by Kevin Plank (Under Armor). If you ever watched the TV show Homicide this building was the police precinct in the show and the bar/restaurant directly across the street was the bar that they bought in the show. Also, a favorite restaurant of my wife and I is Bertha’s. You can tell the building because it is all green. Don’t forget to get your bumper sticker “Eat Bertha’s Mussels”.

Ft. McHenry –  Ft. McHenry the birthplace of the Star Spangled Banner. Use the water taxi to get there. There is a stop right there. Also there is a large park (Free) to go to and the Visitor Center is Free. There is an admission to enter the actual fort. This is the place that IS the Star Spangled Banner, but we let the rest of the US use it.  This is part of the Federal National Park Service. Additional information is available at www.nps.gov .
